Over a period of time, the user behavior has changed. Now, the user wants the required information quickly and does not want to go through a lot of content. Therefore, there is an increasing need for creating more engaging documentation through tools and the way we inform our customers about our products.
Therefore, STC India organized another workshop on Scenario-based Writing and Digital Marketing in Delhi (NCR) on August 2, 2014 by Dr Amit Nagpal.

The intent of the workshop was to help writers in providing more value to their organization by learning the concepts of digital marketing and by learning innovative ways of writing the documentation.
The workshop started with the importance of scenario-based writing. After that, participants were asked to write a scenario on a given topic. When everyone completed the exercise, Dr Nagpal provided his inputs on improving the articles written by the participants.
Next, Dr Nagpal provided some tips on achieving excellence in writing to make it more effective for learner so that learners can memorize the same easily.
Next, Dr Nagpal introduced the concept of storytelling and secretes of viral marketing. He also shared how some social media success tips through mindful content, passionate engagement, and heartfelt collaboration.
Furthermore, he told us about the art of storytelling and good manners for social media.
Next, he told us how an organization and individuals benefit from social media and what are the important methods of brand positioning. After that, he shared some case studies of storytelling and asked the participants to write a scenario based on the concepts they have learn in the session.
After a lunch break, he shared the concepts of content marketing and digital marketing from writer’s perspective.
After attending the workshop, the writers were equipped with the knowledge of writing effective and engaging content to persuade their audience. They also understood the uniqueness of different social media platforms and their uniqueness. The participants were also confident about content marketing and digital marketing.
All participants provided excellent feedback of the workshop and requested STC India to organize more workshops of this kind.

This workshop is free for all members of the STC India chapter, volunteers of the STC India chapter, and employees of the sponsoring organization.
However, there is a fee of INR 500/- for non-members participating in this workshop. In the case of group of four registrations from one organization, the workshop fee is INR 350/- per person.
If you decide to take the STC India membership, the workshop fee will be waived-off.
