About the speaker and the session:
Tharoor Gopalkrishna has been a dedicated member of the STC community since 2000 and has contributed to eleven learning sessions, with a focus on the Chennai region. He has spoken at four STC conferences and has extensive experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) involving documentation, from requirements to release. He currently works in the area of Request for Proposals (RFPs).
Beyond his professional endeavors, Tharoor is passionate about cooking, reading, and simplifying management articles for students. With 35 years of experience in technical writing, he continues to thrive and remain relevant in the field.
In this session, Tharoor shares his practical experience in using JIRA for documentation defect tracking within the Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC). He highlights the versatility of JIRA across different organizations and demonstrates how JIRA gadgets can effectively visualize key parameters as graphs.
